Music

The work “The Peacemakers” by Karl Jenkins for choir, soprano solo and orchestra is a tribute to people who have witnessed for peace: It pays tribute to 20th-century figures such as Martin Luther King, Albert Schweitzer, Anne Frank, Mother Teresa and Nelson Mandela, as well as to the English poets Shelley and Mallory, the composer Johann Sebastian Bach and the medieval Persian mystic Rumi.
