About us
Association TimeDate
Concerned about the numerous conflicts in the world, the association “TimeDate” has been working voluntarily for this unique peace project since 2019. It is responsible for the concert event in Lucerne and supports organizations or choirs that organize the concert in their home countries. We are convinced that this musical message will leave its mark around the world and that making music together can change the world in a positive way.

“Just imagining hearing “Voices of Peace” from the composition “The Peacemaker” around the globe for 24 hours on the same day touches me deeply.
Many people on our planet, with united voices, singing through many channels simultaneously as an action of peace, that nourishes my commitment!
Being in contact with people of different cultures using diverse possibilities to realise this idea fills me with great joy, enthusiasm and respect.”
Theres Höchli, Co-Presidency
“Growing up and living in a peaceful environment is a basic need of all people and connects us worldwide. So the TimeDate Music project connects the voices of people who dream of peace for all – just as I dream of it.”
Helena Röösli, Project management, musical direction
“Words and voices of peace move the senses, they network your thoughts and strengthen social understanding. They give me a deep sense of security and freedom!
They are like advertising slogans, they should be constantly heard, cultivated and internalised!”
The project initiator Helena Röösli will lead and conduct the Lucerne Concert. She is distinguished by a profound education in choral conducting. Her musicality, diversity and wealth of ideas always result in convincing projects.
Silvia Vogel, text writer, communication
“Giving world peace a voice” This is the idea that drives me: TimeDate Music unites voices for peace – around the globe.
A trip to the Caucasus has sharpened my view of how difficult peacemaking is – and how different the needs and assessments of those involved can be. Once again, I became aware of what a safe and peaceful country I am allowed to live in. I take this as a mandate to set a cultural sign for peacemaking.”
Lotti Marti, Fundraising, Sponsoring
“The many conflicts in the world cause untold suffering. I participate in TimeDate because I feel less helpless. I can actively work for peace and motivate others to do the same. My appeal to all of you: Give peace a chance!”
Astrid Blum, Treasurer
“I have only been a member of Timedate since this year, and I admire the commitment of all those who have launched and helped to shape this project.
I am also happy to help a little – I am sure that every thought, every action that happens in peace and with good intentions makes many hearts beat lighter and more joyful. “The Peacemaker” combines this basic attitude across the globe into a great symphony.”
Kathrin Braetschkus, Clau Blum
Behind this unique project are many other helpers who actively support the realization.
