Idealistic support
The project is supported by various personalities and institutions. We are very grateful for this support.
Patronage
Beat Züsli, Mayor of Lucerne, has taken over the patronage for the artistic action.
“I am impressed by the idea of raising voices for peace through concerts by choirs all over the world. Thanks to the message of peace, a unifying togetherness can emerge.”
Musical Associations
The Swiss Choral Association SCV supports and spreads our project “TimeDate Music for peace in the world”.
The Swiss Association of Professional Conductors (SBDV) promotes (inter)national cooperation and networking among musical people.
The peace project “TimeDate Music for Peace in the World” is a unique idea to unite people for more peace through the power of music!
“The Lucerne Theatre is a multi-genre theatre with opera, drama, dance and theatre for children and young people. As the largest cultural institution in Central Switzerland with its own ensemble, it shows its productions in the building on the banks of the Reuss in the Box directly opposite, in the UG on Winkelriedstrasse, in the puppet theatre in the Box and repeatedly at various locations throughout the city. It is regionally anchored with supra-regional charisma and cooperates with a wide variety of artists and institutions of local and international importance.
Without the supporting programme, the Lucerne Theatre puts on over 350 performances per season. These are attended by around 100,000 spectators per year, two thirds of whom come from the canton of Lucerne. Since the 21/22 season, the Lucerne Theatre has been under the directorship of Ina Karr.“
